It’s the first day of spring, the air is a little icy cold, and still has the feel of winter, but It’s spring the start of new things, the start of new things even in my own life.
I wrote this many years ago to celebrate springtime in my own life, and for the book Spirit of Love.

“I feel in myself that the darkness has gone
as winter fades away so does the past with all its fears, and storm.
There is a spring in my step, and there is faith in my heart once more as hope sings a new song that can be heard in my voice.
I have been here many times feeling this on my journey, as the old passes away for the new that will come,
My prayer and hope is in God; as I wait for all things to be added on to me, for I hear the sound of my spirit singing to me a new song,
And even the birds sing with me today.
It’s Spring, it’s the start of new things as flowers shine after being asleep through winter time.
I feel myself alive as I too have been renewed after a long winter in my life,
and again the sky is blue and the earth has spread out a tapestry of colours
like a rainbow all over the land as the darkness of winter fades away bringing sunshine instead of rain,
and so it has been for my grief, sorrow and pain that I have carried inside and locked away for such a long time.”

PLEASE SHARE WANTED FOR SEXUALLY ASSAULTING A 15 YEAR OLD GIRL 22/8/17 8:15AM

Outside Plenty Road Shopping centre Reservoir Melbourne last seen in a high visibility bright orange jumper running from the scene.

Any info call 1800 333 000

The girl was the second teenage girl sexually assaulted on the one day last Tuesday the 22/8/17 in the one area of Reservoir in Melbourne Victoria.

The first was a 17 year old girl assaulted on her way to school along Byford Avenue when a man, described as Caucasian and in his thirties, grabbed her.

He initially tried to strike up a conversation and then offered her $100 in return for sex.

When she refused and tried to walk away he followed her and sexually assaulted her.

The teenager has been left in shock and is unable to attend school or even sleep properly.

“When we got towards the church that’s when he put his hand up my dress,” she said.

“I walked all the way to Reservoir train station crying, non-stop crying, and I’m thinking in my head, ‘what the hell just happened ?

The second girl who was attacked was only 15, her attacker is pictured in the poster, the picture was released by the detectives working the case in the hopes it will bring some information to the case.

The 15-year-old was approached outside the Plenty Road shopping centre last Tuesday morning when she was walking to school. She bravely managed to push the attacker’s hand away and ran.

Her attacker was pictured wearing his high visibility jumper that he was last seen wearing fleeing the scene not long after he attacked the 15 year old girl and got fought off.

It is imperative that these “men” are caught and quickly. If they are willing to attack school girls in broad daylight on their way to school then what else are they willing to do ?

The fact they are so brazen and so arrogant says that they are really comfortable attacking underage girls and need to be stopped before they get it right next time.

Please share this poster far and wide to get this information out to as many people are possible, surely someone somewhere knows something, someone MUST know who these “men” are and understand that they MUST be stopped

Luckily these girls escaped with non life threatening injuries, the next girls they attack may not be so lucky. (A)

Lesson learned. “Although healing brings a better life, it also threatens to permanently alter life as you’ve known it. Your relationships, your position in the world, even your sense of identity may change. Coping patterns that have served you for a lifetime will be called into question. When you make the commitment to heal, you risk losing much of what is familiar. As a result one part of you may want to heal while another resists change.” Courage to Heal by Laura Davis”
Its up to you to Trust your journey, I’ve learned how to accept this family’s ugly incest history, even as the flashbacks of a time long gone replayed memories in my mind, assimilating the reality of my childhood life with each sounds, smells and feelings that overwhelmed the adult me.
I have had to work each day to put together the fragmented pieces of my childhood memories, while cleaning out the debris others left behind in my mind, heart and spirit, a heavy burden of shame, guilt, grief, hate, fear, pain, anger and tears cried that broke the heart of a child.

Lesson learned. “The worst mistake you can make is to think you’re alive when really, you’re asleep in life’s waiting room.”
I am aware now that I’ve lived almost all of my life sleepwalking through it while serving others. Those old inherited traits from my childhood spilled over into everything that I said and did as the adult and after a lifetime of being a servant always serving other people, I will never again allow myself to become a slave to others. I can tell the difference now between serving a higher purpose in life, to being an enslaved servant to people. There is a very big difference between serving people you love and becoming their servants out of fear, it’s a sad reality for many adult survivors that don’t know the difference between serving and servant.
It has taken me forever to get to here, to finally know and feel in myself that I am worthy to be free. If you are ever made to forget your self-worth and you’re self-value, and you lose sight of who you truly are, regardless if it’s family, even a marriage, friendship or business venture its time for you to walk away. It’s a real life choice that you and only you need to make for you…

Lesson learned. “We are all born ignorant, but one must work hard to remain stupid.” Benjamin Franklin.
Nothing that has touched our lives since the day we are born will ever really go away, not until it teaches us what we need to know.
Our childhood memories are buried alive in our subconscious mind and will remain there until we unearth them.
Once we start to live in the full knowledge of our true self, whenever we return to a place that has not yet changed in anyway, shape or form, it allows us to appreciate the changes we see in our own life, regardless how difficult our journey has been.
I’ve lived through so much stress and anxiety over these years, and found that what works for me is to always recognising and acknowledging where my stress and anxiety comes from, doing this has helped me to overcome many fearful ghostly shadows that revisit the adult from my childhood past.
And is the reason why I share my experiences, because I believe that there are many people out there who are lonely, sick, hurt and isolated, with feelings they don’t understand. They stay locked up in their own prison for many years, not knowing, what is wrong with them but knowing very well how they feel. Anxiety sets in, depression, a desperate loneliness, a longing for something better, a wanting for something they themselves don’t even know. This is taken from the book, Secrets of a Broken Heart By Cristina
